Welcome to St. John's community. We are honored to serve Christ, and to open our doors to all. Please feel free to join us for worship. St. John's can trace its history to the founding of Jamestown. The parish is over 350 years old, and the church building itself has stood for 2 and a half centuries. St. John's saw the American Revolution and served as a camp ground for troops during the Civil War. Through it all, St. John's has been a place of worship and a home for those seeking communion with Christ. St. John's has a rich and abiding history. Today, it is as it was... a place to find and be found by Christ.

Sermon for Sunday July 29, 2012

Greetings at the end of July. It has been a busy month and a time for us to look renew friendships and our sense of ministry. Today was special because 2 families returned to worship with us after a brief time away. Many thanks to the West family and Pinner family for being with us. We were also blessed to have a couple after service visit their parents in the yard - the Woodwards.

Our sermon today looked about Jesus' presence in our life and what we are looking for each and every day. We looked at the reality that God we are looking for is the God we find in our search, even when we don't know what we are looking for. I encourage your comments.
